This morning we went back to the Visitor Center at the Dam to watch a movie about its construction and take some pictures. We were on the road right after lunch. We went from rugged rock country around the Dam to rolling light gold yellow hills where they cut the alfalfa or hay or whatever and then through mountains and forests. We stopped in Spokane to buy a few more supplies and stopped in Idaho near a huge beautiful lake in the town of Sandpoint. Drove through Elmira, IDAHO at 60 mph - good thing we didn't blink. Our RV park was nice and had some interesting sights. There were a number of ancient RV’s that had been completely renovated – lots of shiny chrome. Then across from us was an old school bus that had been converted to an RV (maybe permanent home?) – it was a scary-looking thing with plywood sides with various cutouts.
Finished the short stretch of Idaho and on into the great big square state of Montana. We passed an old drive-in movie theater in Libby, MT that was showing current movies! Wish we could have stayed to go to the drive-in. We changed into Mountain time going into
